RE: [ISSForum] (no subject) Proventia M v2 firmware

Completely reinstall from CD. It might not be a bad idea because the
rules are easier to understand.
I have found several bugs in this release; if you have a lot of
one-to-one NAT entries, you might want to get with support for a fix to
up the NAT binding count from 50 to 1000. There is also a bug in the
proxy ARP from interface to interface which will make you have to reset
the appliance every day.
I am experiencing ICMP redirects from the DMZ interface (occasionally)
which isn't supposed to happen.

Hi all-

Has anyone successfully upgraded the firmware on a Proventia M? I had
to resort to FTP'ing the code to the box through the shell since it
would not auto discover any updates and I'm stuck trying to get it to
actually update. Has anyone done this?

Thanks!
Collin
