[suse-security] free sms messages

Hello List!
I want to set up a alarm script that texts me everytime it discovers
something strange.
It would be perfect if i could mail it to a sms gateway or something similar
which would send it to my mobile number.

NOTE: It's a german mobile.

Is there a way? Or would a 12345678@xxxxxxxxxxx already work?

Any tips, hints, links are welcome!!
