[suse-security] 7.3 Kernel Update

Hi !

i´m into updating the Kernel 2.4.10-4GB #1 Mon Nov 5 on a Suse 7.3
System to 2.4.18-279 ...

As far as good ... reading Step 4 from
http://www.suse.de/de/security/2003_034_kernel.html

"The variable INITRD_MODULES .... The variable should contain
your scsi adapter (if any) or filesystem driver modules."

cat /etc/rc.config | grep INITRD
INITRD_MODULES="eepro100 3c90x 3c90x"

Shows only the three NIC´s but no scsi adapter or filesystem module.

Is it safe to update the kernel?
Sorry for being dumb today ... but it confused me quite a litte bit.

Thanks
Uli
