VULNERABILITY SUMMARY:
  A potential security vulnerability has been identified in the
  HP Tru64 UNIX SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) library, which
  is based on OpenSSL. The potential vulnerability may be
  remotely exploitable, resulting in a denial of service (DoS).

SUPPORTED SOFTWARE VERSIONS*:  ONLY impacted versions are listed.

The following supported product versions are affected.

  HP Tru64 UNIX 5.1B PK3 (BL24)
              
  HP Tru64 UNIX 5.1B PK2 (BL22)
              
The following Internet Express (IX)  components from IX V6.2 or
earlier:
  Sendmail          IX621-SMTP81210
  Bind              IX621-BIND920
  OpenLDAP          IX621-OLDAP2027
  SWS (Apache)      IX621-SMTP81210

 Insight Management Agents (IMA) earlier than
 Software Update 3.2.3

RESOLUTION:
Until the corrections are available in mainstream releases, HP is providing patches that resolve the potential SSL vulnerability described in this bulletin.

The corrections are scheduled to be available in the following mainstream releases:

     HP Tru64 UNIX V5.1B Patch Kit (PK5)
     HP Internet Express version 6.3
     HP Tru64 Insight Management Agents 3.3 (CPQIM330)
