UNIRAS has received reports that remote exploit code has been publicly released
for the BrightStor ARCserve/Enterprise Backup vulnerability described in
UNIRAS Briefing 601/05 released earlier today. 

Increased scanning activity to TCP port 6070 is also occurring, indicating 
attempted exploitation of this vulnerability. 

UNIRAS advises users of CA Brightstor backup products to apply security updates 
as a matter of urgency. Additionally, users should consider implementing border 
filtering on TCP port 6070.
